In the " Liao Khitan octagonal bronze mirror · Legend of the Past " section of the fourth quarter and ninth issue of the cultural and museum exploration program " National Treasure " produced by the Central Radio and Television Station, Wanyan tong, as a Lushi of Jizhou, discovered the story behind the Khitan octagonal bronze mirror in the investigation of a dispute in the market of Jizhou, a big city in the Jin Dynasty, and revealed the identity of the owner of the bronze mirror and the profound meaning of the text engraved on the bronze mirror. Through the seven Chinese characters engraved on the edge of the bronze mirror : " Jizhou Lushi Wanyan Tong ", its identity can be known, but its specific life is not recorded in historical records. According to the official identity of Jizhou and its recordings in the area where Wanyan Tong is located, the background of his time can be inferred. With reference to the the dress regulations and documentary sources of the Jin Dynasty, and combined with the physical data unearthed from the tomb of the King of Qi of the Jin Dynasty in Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province, Wanyan Tong 's clothing image was designed : His headwear is a black Luo drooping‑foot futou, and his footwear is black leather boots; his garment is a Jurchen round‑collar robe with patterned border, decorated with the design of a Haidongqing catching goose, in an effort to authentically reconstruct the attire of male Jurchen officials in the Jin Dynasty.
